Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the flow of client information and oversee the workflow of income tax return preparation to ensure timely filing, particularly during the peak tax season in March and April.

  • Create and maintain office-wide information, primarily client databases.

  • Act as the primary contact for exceptional client service, handling client inquiries and matters promptly.

  • Address and resolve office-wide issues or direct them to the appropriate parties for resolution.

  • Interact with key internal and external stakeholders, including executives and vendors.

  • Oversee the office calendar and schedule appointments with potential and existing clients.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with operations and managing tax return preparation procedures in public accounting practice.

  • Proven ability to adapt efficiently to dynamic environments.

  • Maintain high productivity under time constraints and pressure.

  • Work independently and collaboratively across all organizational levels.

  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal & written) and strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.

  • Excellent time management skills, experience in meeting deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint).

  • Ability to manage information across various platforms and implement new systems as needed.

  • Capacity to learn new technologies and information systems quickly.

Due to overtime requirements, flexibility in schedule during peak tax season (March-April) is essential.

Salary:

$20-$25/hr
